Heralded for his “genuinely interesting” and “bold and elegant” playing (The Dallas Morning News), he was awarded a prestigious Diapason d’or de l’année for his solo disc with works by Scriabin, and the great Valery Gergiev selected him as Artist of the Month at the Mariinsky Concert Hall in St. Petersburg.
