“An enormous talent to watch” (The Dallas Morning News), eighteen-year-old Korean pianist Yunchan Lim became the youngest winner in the history of the competition. His performances were hailed for their “amazing suavity and orchestral sweep” (Gramophone) and “defying human possibility” (Onstage NTX). Still a student at the Korea National University of Arts under Minsoo Sohn, he has already given celebrated performances in major venues in Korea as well as in Madrid, Spain.
